Getting Started

It is easy to become a shopper at our Teaching Tools Resource Center. Just follow the simple steps below. We look forward to your first visit.

Check these lists to determine if your school is approved for shoppers:
Full-Service Schools
One-Representative Schools
Volunteer to Shop Schools

Full Service Schools

Fill out this Policies and Eligibility Form and bring it to the Teaching Tools Resource Center on your first visit. You will check in at the front desk when you arrive. You must show a photo ID each time you shop (once a month). Hillsborough County employee photo identification or driver’s license is accepted.

One-Representative Schools
At One-Representative schools the Principal assigns one shopper and one alternate shopper to serve as the designated shopper for the school. This shopper can shop for $1,000 or more in free school supplies once per month (July – May).

Volunteer-to-Shop Schools
All full-time Hillsborough County Public School teachers at schools that we currently do not serve full-service (including those at One-Representative schools) can volunteer 3 hours a month at the Teaching Tools Resource Center to earn free shopping trips worth about $289 each. Contact Samantha Gray at [email protected] or (813)574-0260  Ext:0 to schedule a volunteer opportunity at the Resource Center.
