100,000+ reasons to donate school supplies

That number represents the 58 percent of students in Hillsborough County who qualify for free or reduced-fee lunch.  This ever-growing number of economically challenged students is why The Teaching Tools Store exists.  Teachers in many of the County’s Title 1 schools (schools where more than 60% of the students qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch) depend upon free school supplies they need to help students take full advantage of their education.

The Teaching Tools Store  is a real brick and mortar store stocked 100 percent through donations from individuals and local businesses, purchases with donated funds and partnerships with organizations such as the Kids in Need Foundation, Target, Staples and Walgreens.

Any individual or business is welcome to donate items, including supplies, furniture and more.  Our teachers and their students will put it all to good use.
