2018-19 Classroom & School Enrichment Grant Applications

Grant applications are being accepted online at our new Find It Fund It portal:

Find It Fund It is an automated online grant application program that allows teachers to post school projects or programs for funding from Hillsborough Education Foundation or the public. Hillsborough County Public School teachers and administrators can submit applications for consideration until March 15, 2019. Project requests must be at least $100 and not exceed $2,000

Hillsborough Education Foundation has designated at least $150,000 to help fund projects or programs that mean something to them. Since the need is so great, those who submit application should also promote their project by garnering support of the project through email,
Twitter and Facebook
using a designated link for each project.

To apply, you must register using your district email address, then complete your project application(s). Once an application is submitted, it will go through a two-step approval process. The first step is for your principal to approve or deny the project via an automated email. Next, Hillsborough Education Foundation will review. Once your application has made it through the approval process, you will be contacted, and the project will be post the the public site. Kepp in mind that all funded projects must be completed by May 15, 2019 and an online impact report, phots, and student thank-you letters will be required

Your submitted application will be visible to the public so make it interesting and use language the general public will find compelling. Please note that this is a new application system; as we learn from feedback we will strengthen our processes. Please refer to this instruction page throughout the year for current procedures.

Remember that you must notify the HCPS Grants and Research Operations (GRO) office of your intent to apply for funding by submitting a Grant Application Notification form via IDEAS at least two weeks prior to submitting your grant. Go to District => District Forms => Grant Application Notification. This Grant Application Notification form must be completed for each opportunity that is pursued.
