Grant Information
Each year, the Hillsborough Education Foundation solicits sponsors for its Grants Program. Grant sponsors sometimes specify the criteria for the grants, and are involved in the judging and selection of the winning grants. Last year, over $200,000 in classroom grants was awarded to individual teachers. School Excellence grants will be made available to principals and administrators of a school site again this year. Technology Grants, which is a Grant Match Program jointly administered by the Hillsborough Education Foundation and the Hillsborough County Public School District will also be available. The program matches 50 percent of funds by the applying school.
