The Hillsborough Education Foundation provides financial assistance to Hillsborough County Public School graduates in order to help them with college expenses. All students who meet academic qualifications are eligible to apply for cash scholarships. As tuition for a post secondary education continues to rise, as well as the cost of living expenses, every $100 makes a difference to students seeking help. The Foundation is able to offer a number of cash scholarships to graduating seniors thanks to the generosity of local businesses, individual donors as well as civic and charitable groups. Hillsborough Education Foundation scholarship offerings are advertised through the guidance offices at all Hillsborough County high schools. Students are urged to log on to the Foundation website and apply online during designated application periods.  Students participate in a competitive application process. In 2006, the Foundation received requests for ten times the number of scholarships than it could fund. Consider providing the means to which a deserving student can further enhance themselves by continuing their education.

• Scholarship awards range from $500 to $20,000 and will help students with some funding for post-secondary education.
