The Hillsborough Education Foundation helps Hillsborough County Public Schools in a wide variety of ways. Serving schools and the district as a whole is reinforced by assisting educators in ways that make it possible to improve their impact on students, while supporting their efforts in the classroom with grants and funding opportunities, reaching out to the community to secure partnerships, recognizing excellent educators and dedicated involvement to the education process, teacher recruitment and retention, as well as the enhancement of leadership development in the school district.
Now the 8th largest school district in the nation Hillsborough County Public Schools serves over 190,000 students and employs more than 30,000. The Foundation has been able to engage more people than ever and build new relationships which we feel will have a lasting impact on our continually growing community.
