Business Partnerships Support and Enhance Education

The Hillsborough Education Foundation is continuously seeking partners to support its ongoing programs and to assist with new initiatives within the school district. Collaborations that benefit all involved are the great result of the business partnership program. The Foundation can help identify programs that align with a company’s priorities while meeting the needs of students and teachers.

Bright House Networks has a unique program with the Hillsborough Education Foundation that recognizes Business Partners and informs other individuals and organizations how they can get involved in public education. This is one example of how Bright House Network’s priority, of growing private support for public education, is being implemented. Bright House is sponsoring the “Bright House Spotlight on Education” series. Each month an aspect of the public school system is highlighted in a one hour informational session. As donors, many businesses support education through sponsorships of the Foundation’s programs, or they participate in volunteerism through mentoring, tutoring or working with education professionals. All of the relationships support student achievement. Several notable partnerships have grown from businesses that participate in Presidents as Principals.

Businesses can partner with the Foundation or Schools to volunteer as mentors, tutors, or members of a committee. There are also opportunities to support the programs listed below:
