Overview
- Presidents as Principals was first introduced in Hillsborough County in 1996 to help increase awareness of issues that school administrators confront on a daily basis.
- Invited presidents, CEOs, community leaders, and other key executives will spend a morning serving as honorary principals at schools throughout the county and will experience first-hand the wide range of roles maintained by principals in their day-to-day operations.
- The morning event will be followed by a working luncheon where participants can begin a dialog to discuss ideas on how to help principals improve and better meet the needs of our Hillsborough County Public Schools.
Goals
- To strengthen the bond between our community and our schools.
- To provide area executives the opportunity to learn about our public school system.
- To provide a forum for the principals to utilize the experience and expertise of our community business leaders.
Yes, I would like to participate in a future Presidents as Principals program!
Please send me an invitation to become an Honorary Principal!
