Overview

Presidents as Principals was first introduced in Hillsborough County in 1996 to help increase awareness of issues that school administrators confront on a daily basis.
Invited presidents, CEOs, community leaders, and other key executives will spend a morning serving as honorary principals at schools throughout the county and will experience first-hand the wide range of roles maintained by principals in their day-to-day operations.
The morning event will be followed by a working luncheon where participants can begin a dialog to discuss ideas on how to help principals improve and better meet the needs of our Hillsborough County Public Schools.

Goals

To strengthen the bond between our community and our schools.
To provide area executives the opportunity to learn about our public school system.
To provide a forum for the principals to utilize the experience and expertise of our community business leaders.
