One-half of the fastest growing occupations in Florida require some training beyond high school, but not a traditional college degree. By supporting Hillsborough County’s 4 Career Centers (Bowers-Whitley, D.W. Waters, Simmons and South County), we are helping to prepare students to become the next generation of American workers.
The Hillsborough Education Foundation supports Career and Technical Education students through Project Success providing financial assistance to offset the costs of tuition, equipment, books and certification. If you are a senior at one of the 4 Hillsborough County Public Schools Career Centers listed above, you may click here to apply for a scholarship to one of the Hi-Tec Centers in the district or Hillsborough Community College. Scholarships in the amounts of $1,000-$2,000 are available.
If you have graduated and are already a student enrolled in one the four HCPS Hi-Tec Centers please contact your program advisor for more information on how to obtain financial assistance for curriculum related materials and certifications.
