Remember the anticipation of the first day of school?  New clothes, new shoes, a new lunch box, new folders, paper, pencils -- it was all part of the excitement.  Did you know that approximately half of the 190,000+ students in Hillsborough County Public Schools cannot afford to buy the supplies they will need for the start of school on August 24?

From now through September 1, the Hillsborough Education Foundation's Teaching Tools for Hillsborough Schools program will collect school supplies for students in need.  Join forces with other businesses and community organizations just like you to help us gather those tools for schools!

You can help provide Hillsborough County students with the essentials they need to succeed in the classroom. Host a supply drive today!

The six (6) items students need the most are:

  1. Paper (lined or unlined)
  2. Composition Books
  3. Scissors
  4. Pencils
  5. Crayons
  6. Glue
