Grants to Support Classrooms, Schools, and Technology Make a Difference

Every year the Hillsborough Education Foundation makes funds available to Hillsborough County educators to create new and innovative educational programs that could not normally be accommodated by the typical school budget.  The Foundation partners with individuals, corporations, agencies, and organizations to provide funding and resources to channel out to teachers and schools via:

Classroom Grants: teachers apply for extra dollars for classroom projects.

School Excellence Initiative Grants: matching dollars for whole school projects.

Technology Match Grants: matching grants for technological advancements in schools.

• The  Foundation has awarded over $2.5 million of grant money through its grants  program. With so many requests each year, The Foundation is continually striving to provide funds for this tremendously successful program. 
• The  Foundation's Technology Matching Grant program provides over $500,000 in  technology dollars to the school district each year.
