The Hillsborough Education Foundation’s Excellence in Education Program showcases educators and school personnel who consistently bring forth their best efforts and utilize their talents to ensure the students they serve receive the best education possible. You can help recognize the “best of the best” Hillsborough County Public Schools employees at the annual Excellence in Education Awards.
- Ida S. Baker Diversity Educator of the Year – An outstanding educator who serves as a role model to improve the educational status of their diverse students.
- Instructional Support Employee of the Year – School personnel that support the district through administration, transportation or health services.
- Teacher of the Year – A teacher selected by their peers for dedication to their students and exceptional support of academic achievement.
Excellence in Education program donors are invited to attend this prestigious annual event with a crowd of 2,600 attendees representing over 240 schools in Hillsborough County Public Schools.
