Success Fund


Hillsborough County Public Schools is a leader in offering Career Academies to high school students. Career Academies are career-focused courses offered at Blake, Gaither, King, Steinbrenner and Strawberry Crest high schools and include considerable hands-on work by the students. These academies improve students’ academic performance and encourage and provide a seamless transition to post-secondary education.

SUCCESS Fund provides financial assistance to students enrolled in selected STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) Career Academies.

The goal of SUCCESS Fund is to increase access and fully utlize the Career Academies, which are shown to increase high school graduation rates and future career opportunities.
