Career & Tech Education

"I feel the need to thank you for your great initiative to assist students in financial need. I thank you for assisting me in pursuing my career, for helping me to finish the LPN program."
~ Joseph, INVEST award recipient

Breaking down barriers to meaningful careers!

Did you know?

  • Seven of the 14 fastest growing occupations in Florida require training after high school, but not a college degree.
  • 86% of students in technical education programs graduate and find work in the area of their certification.
  • An average $500 investment in training can start students on the path towards building a career, not just securing a job.

Career & Technical Education programs address the considerable need for skilled workers in the community.  Students acquire certifiable skills and can provide immediate service to local businesses.  Students who live at or below the poverty line are able to use their training to build a fulfilling and productive future.  The Foundation addresses the Career & Technical Education needs in the country through three programs:

1.)  SUCCESS Fund (Career Academies)
2.)  Project SUCCESS (Career Centers)

3.)  INVEST (Postsecondary Education)
